RECONSTRUCTIONS OF FAMILY GROUPS

The following files document the groups I've provisionally reconstructed as a result of my researches to date. The groupings may therefore be subject to future correction if and when new information emerges, as is all the information on this web site.

Naturally, I welcome any feedback from the descendants of any of the RIGGS families included. In particular, further information for me to consider, that may re-inforce or re-adjust the relationships I've assumed (together with details of where the source of that information is documented), would be appreciated.

In turn, I hope you will appreciate that for practical reasons I only research persons with the surname RIGGS. I do not usually continue to research, after they have changed their surname from RIGGS, daughters who marry or RIGGS widows who remarry, or their non-RIGGS descendants. Very occasionally I make an exception, where I'm aware a descendant is noteworthy or inter-marries back into a RIGGS family.
